In 2005, the Russian publisher Solitary Publishing launched XS Magazine, covering games for all popular platforms. In 2006, editor-in-chief Alexander Shcherbakov left, and the new editorial board emphasized erotica and "men's" materials (car reviews, sex, and other Playboy-inspired columns). XS Magazine survived until the end of 2006 and was closed due to losses.
